Our float trips range from Class I to Class II, making them ideal for first-time floaters and those looking to kick back and relax with friends. The Elk River offers crystal clear waters, beautiful views of bluffs, gravel bars and shallow swimming areas.
We offer three main float trips on the Elk River. Our most popular being the Noel River Float Trip, a six (6) mile stretch of the Elk River, fed by three creeks open all season long, always with ample water. The Trestle Bridge Float Trip is a scenic, seasonal six (6) mile stretch of Elk River feed by two creeks, available when water levels allow. If you are looking for an adventure, the 12 Mile Float Trip is for our paddle enthusiast, those that might not be here to relax, but more for exercise and sport.
Our daily launch site is determined by water level which means your launch site cannot be guaranteed when booking.
Our most popular float trip starting at Trestle Park in Ginger Blue and floating to Wayside Campground in Noel. This relaxing six mile float trip is fed by three creeks and is open all season long.
A scenic 6 mile float trip starting at Kozy Kamp in Pineville and floating to Trestle Park in Ginger Blue, with many nice bluffs featured along the way. This float is fed by two creeks making it seasonal.
